As a leading corporate and non-profit event planner in Louisville, we were honored to partner with Metro United Way of Louisville for their signature annual fundraising breakfast—the Community Impact Awards. Held at the stunning Angel’s Envy Club inside the University of Louisville’s Cardinal Stadium, this event brought together over 400 attendees to celebrate and elevate community transformation efforts across the region.
A Vision Inspired by Purpose
This year’s theme, “Shining Beyond Ourselves,” took visual cues from an Olympic torch-style logo, representing unity, drive, and a future-forward mindset. Metro United Way of Louisville approached us to conceptualize and execute stage décor and floral centerpieces that would visually echo the symbolic theme and enhance the atmosphere of this inspiring charity event.
As part of our planning process, we first curated a custom inspiration board for the client’s review—blending artistic vision with their branding and thematic goals. Once approved, our design team brought that board to life, weaving in elements of innovation and elegance.

Igniting the Stage with Symbolic Design
The focal point of the room was our stage installation—a modern and abstract take on the Olympic torch. We designed a striking broken silver balloon arch, enclosing the stage in a sleek, futuristic frame. This was paired with vibrant flame-colored florals in hues of orange, red, and yellow to emulate the energy of fire, symbolizing passion, unity, and purpose.
Centerpieces that Tied the Theme Together
For the guest tables, we created cohesive centerpieces using silver decorative spheres paired with the same flame-colored floral palette. This seamless blend tied the visual story of the torch from the stage to every seat in the room, giving the entire venue a glowing, unified presence.
Our team also provided event design consulting, advising on linen and chair cover selections, as well as the stage layout to ensure that every detail worked together in harmony.
