A Family Reunion, Event Planning Style
We first met Maddie’s mom, Tammy, years ago when she hosted an intimate wedding reception for her sister at home. She remembered our personalized service and seamless execution, so when it was time to plan her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah nearly a decade later, she called us without hesitation.
Tammy came to us with a loosely formed idea: Maddie, an aspiring performer, wanted a Broadway-themed event that showcased kid-friendly musicals she’d starred in over the years—Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Annie, Seussical, and more. But she wasn’t sure how to pull it all together in a way that was fresh, fun, and sophisticated.

From Vague Vision to Red Carpet Reality
This celebration was an enormous creative and logistical undertaking—and we loved every second of it. Our DMC and design teams worked together to create, source, and produce every element, delivering a truly immersive experience from the moment guests arrived.
The Arrival: Broadway Glamour Meets Red Carpet Wow
Guests were greeted with:
A pink carpet entrance framed by towering floral installations and lush greenery hedges
8ft x 4ft custom playbills featuring Maddie’s favorite musicals
Faux paparazzi snapping “celebrity” photos
Professional valet parking for a seamless guest experience
A Show-Stopping Lobby Transformation
Inside the lobby, the space was transformed with:
Jewel-tone velvet pipe and drape wrapping every wall
Dual custom bars: a mocktail bar for the kids and a full open bar for the adults
Life-size Broadway-inspired marquee signs
A luxe 360° photobooth and curated lighting
Lush floral installations and upbeat Broadway tunes to set the mood
Showtime & Elegant Dinner
When it was time for the show, guests entered the auditorium, which had been transformed into an upscale garden party. The space featured:
A lavender and gold palette with gold chiavari chairs, floral troughs, and hundreds of bud vases
Elegant table settings: gold beaded chargers, knotted napkins, gold flatware, and custom plateware
Pre-set salads and challah bread, with tableside wine service during the performance
After the show, adults dined on a delicious buffet, while kids were released to their very own custom-designed party space.
A Kids’ Zone Worthy of a Standing Ovation
The kids’ lounge was a vibrant dream, bursting with:
Hot pink and teal linens, ghost chairs, and coordinating florals
A Broadway & glitter-themed hair and makeup station
A giant candy wall stocked with colorful treats
A kid-approved buffet featuring:

Mac & cheese

Veggie & ranch dip board
The Grand Finale: Dessert & Dancing
As a final surprise, a hidden fourth space opened—revealing the DJ and dance floor! The room came alive with:
Dance Ninjas who led TikTok routines and got every guest on the dance floor
A full dessert station featuring:
Graeter’s Ice Cream
Penny & Pearl’s Cookies
Meanwhile, the adult buffet included:
Smoked brisket carving station
Bourbon glazed Verlasso salmon
